Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SoloQuote (“we”, “us”) collects when you use soloquote.pages.dev (the “Service”) and how we use it. The short version: our calculators run in your browser, the business data you enter stays on your device unless you create an account, and we never sell your personal information.

Information stored on your device

When you use the calculators and estimate generator without an account, everything you enter — job details, costs, your business profile and logo, customers and estimates — is processed in your browser and saved in your browser’s local storage. It is not sent to our servers. You can delete it at any time by clearing your browser’s site data.

Information you give us

• Account. If you create an account, we collect your email address to send you sign-in links, and we store the estimates, customers, business profile and settings you save so you can access them from any device.
• Early-access list. If you join a waitlist, we store your email address and the plan you’re interested in, and use it only to tell you about that plan.
• Customer information. Estimates may contain your customers’ names, emails and addresses. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store that information; we process it only to provide the Service to you.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are visited and whether the PDF download works). It uses cookies and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type. We do not send the numbers you enter into calculators, or your estimate or customer details, to analytics. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run the Service: Cloudflare (hosting and content delivery), Supabase (accounts and cloud storage, only if you create an account) and Google (analytics). They process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.

Advertising

We do not currently show ads. If we add advertising to free tool pages in the future, we will update this policy before doing so. Ads will never appear in your PDF estimates.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain and improve the Service.
• To send sign-in links and important service messages.
• To respond to you when you contact us.
• To protect the Service against abuse.

We do not sell or “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Data retention and deletion

Account data is kept while your account is active. To delete your account and all its data, email us at hello@soloquote.app from the address on your account. Data in your browser’s local storage is controlled by you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, California under the CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, and to not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. Contact us to make a request.

Security

Connections to the Service are encrypted (HTTPS). Account data is isolated per user with database row-level security. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 13.

We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date above.
